I have finally perfected it, but can not imagine using chocolate pudding for the chocolate part... ewww.. What I did was double the haupia part, and I use BAKERS brand chocolate squares, but also in the haupia part, I put a teaspoon of coconut extract and instead of regular water to mix the cornstarch, I use coconut water,.... When it's nice and hot, split the haupia in two bowls. melt some chocolate chips (6-8 oz. or so) in a microwave and mix it into one of the bowls. There you go: Chocolate haupia. Put the chocolate in first, then the regular haupia on top.smrad8https://www.blogger.com/profile/13260779495971426508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3063968735663590039.post-67914345263792537362009-02-05T06:40:00.000-08:002009-02-05T06:40:00.000-08:00the pie and cookies --two of my favorites in all o...the pie and cookies --two of my favorites in all of the world--I can't wait to make both of them--but there is no one to eat them yikes (well except dad and I) maybe if I make them "they will come" its worked before---<BR/>I will make that pie (or two of them) for the ladies coming for book club one week from today-(:newsinaminutehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15680843234610215257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3063968735663590039.post-55571462665647682912009-02-02T11:32:00.000-08:002009-02-02T11:32:00.000-08:00yum yum and yes the picture of the cookies looks l...yum yum and yes the picture of the cookies looks like it should be in a cook book!!!Nancy Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00830554603146107088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3063968735663590039.post-8334278826632729082009-02-01T21:21:00.000-08:002009-02-01T21:21:00.000-08:00Yummo!Yummo!Valhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08076322818869189152noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3063968735663590039.post-61025376557181600662009-02-01T20:33:00.000-08:002009-02-01T20:33:00.000-08:00i'm so glad you posted this recipe.
