I've been wanting a mixer since forever. My mom always made homemade pizza and yummy rolls and on Sundays I'd make cakes with her mixer. I just wanted one to be like her I guess. Then when I got married and started making pizza and rolls and cakes, I really wanted one for the convenience of it. This Saturday I got one! My Papa gave me my grandma's Kitchen Aid and I am pleased as punch about it. If there is one thing my grandmother did it was make yummy food. I love that I have something of hers. I never thought I'd be so sentimental. With Christmas coming, I can't stop thinking about her, we always went to Grandma's for Christmas. That was the last time I saw her, last Christmas. Having her mixer has made me feel closer to all my memories of her because I see it everyday and think of her. I can't believe how much I miss her.

That same day, someone was giving away a perfectly good butcher clock table on cragislist. So we went and got it and now I have somewhere to put the mixer. I previously had zero counter space, and now I have a ton. The table folds out so when I need space I can have it. Working with such a little kitchen is tuff, but our new additions have made it lots better!
