Butterflies

My FAVORITE part of the trip was seeing all the butterflies. I have always wanted to go to a butterfly farm and be surrounded by them. The Natural History Museum had a green house with crazy cool plants and over 300 butterflies. The great thing about the Smithsonians is that admission is free, but IMAX and special exhibits are not. The butterflies are a special exhibit. When I saw that it was $6 per person, I was totally bummed. But then I saw a sign that said it was FREE on Tuesdays. I wanted to do it so bad, I said outloud "I wish it was Tuesday!" Then I looked at my watch and it was Tuesday! So I rushed over to get my ticket. It was a dream come true to see all the cool butterflies. Here a a few pictures of my favorites, though I liked them all! Hayley was super lucky and got a butterfly to land on her. Isn't that so cool. It was a really pretty one, black and purple!
