CiCi's Pizza did a thing with the fire department last week. If you let the fireman check your smoke detector, you got a free, large, one topping pizza. We obviously cashed in on that. Our smoke detector was in tip top shape. We ate the pizza.
TWO days later, the battery died, it started beeping... our smoke detector is no longer in working order. Glad it was last week and not this one!! Don't worry, a new battery is on the shopping list.

haha anything for free food, right? that was mine and alfredo's occupation when we were (super) poor newlyweds...a mission for events with free food.
