Eternal Perspective part 2

"Life is difficult... Once we truly know that life is difficult--once we truly understand and accept it--then life is no longer difficult. Because once it is accepted, the fact that life is difficult no longer matters." --M. Scott Peck, in The Road Less Traveled

When I read that quote I understood it as follows:
"The atonement is all encompassing... once we truly know that the atonement is all encompassing, then life and death is no longer difficult. Because once it is accepted, the fact that life and death are difficult no longer matters."

Christ gives us reason to have hope and have a measure of joy even when the love, the time, the memories you no longer get to experience in the mortal present or future is gone until eternities become your present.

I guess we live for that eternity. We live because of Christ.
