Piano Recital

Here I am in all my piano playing glory... or lack thereof. I practiced my little heart out, but I still made lots of mistakes, BUT the point is that I know how to play with my left hand and my right hand in the C position. I'm way excited for myself, but I don't know how much more progress I'll make on my own. We'll see. I think I'll stick with the C position for a bit longer before I try to learn more. It's harder to teach myself than I expected.

Enjoy, and thanks for coming by to watch. If you watched, please leave a comment, even if you have nothing to say, just say hi, I want to get a feel for who actually reads this blog of mine.

Your piano playing is beautiful!! I loved watching you play! Thanks for sharing your talents! You are a good example of not hiding your talents and really making an effort to learn new things. I loved your blues song too!

Brad is such an awesome hubby to suprise you with the painted piano!! What an awesome gift!
I loved your recital!! You didn't even seem nervous!

Very much proud of you. But you should take a look at your bottom when you are sitting on the piano...your dress has a design that makes it look like your butt crack is emphasised. Just thought it was funny! But your playing was marvelous. Congratualtions

I seem to remember Brad teaching himself how to play piano. He could play like two hymns and was called as the priesthood pianist. Of course I was then called to conduct and boy was that funny!

That was great, almost as good as when Brad plays Praise to the Man with the Rocky intro.

I have to admit that I read your blog quite a bit. I'm a fan. I told Brad when he was visiting Ezra that I stalk you guys via your blog. Just so you know :) Great job on the piano recital, I've been looking forward to it. I needed some inspiration to practice more. All the best to your little family!

HI! I loved the recital, it is the first piano recital I have ever attended and I am inspired now. You did so well. Playing with two hands is sooo hard. I'm really impressed. Keep up the good work!

I love you it. That was the best way to go on the piano skills. I can't wait until I can own a piano.
