Kaci woke up and came to find me.
I'm pretending to be asleep.
I hear a loud harsh whisper, "Kaci, NO?" As she goes running past the bathroom, "Don't get mommy. Come back!"
pit-pat-pit-pat...
Kaci dives onto Brad's pillow and snuggles up to me. I hear the toilet flush and then Brad swoops Kaci off the bed and carries her back to her room.
10 minutes later...
"WHOA!!!" Brad screams! Kaci starts whimpering. And then silence.
An hour later Brad comes back to bed. I'm still awake, never fell back asleep. "Brad, why did you scream like that. You scared me."
"Oh, I thought Kaci was a cat."
What the?!?! I've been awake since 2 am because in Brad's sleepy stupor he mistook Kaci for a cat? It's going to be a long day. A very long day. I hate it when I can't fall back asleep. This happened to me when we were newly weds too. Remember that? That time Brad woke up screaming because a dog was about to get him in his dream? That time, a big frame crashed to the floor right afterwards. Shattering glass is not a fun sound at 3am. I didn't fall back asleep that time either.
I'm off to seminary. Just 4 days left!!

A cat!! What the??? Haha he is so funny! And that's crazy you can't fall back asleep! I'm actually REALLY good at falling back asleep after anything! Lol
ha ha ha. Brad cracks me up. Probably because I tend to do crazy things like that too.

oh man...I hate those sleepless nights. That's hilarious that you guys don't even OWN a cat and he thinks there is one in the house. maybe kaci purrrs or something. totally kidding! I have a hard time making myself go back to sleep too!
This week abbie screamed-in the middle of the day-because Kyle crawled up behind her and she thought he was a cat. It must run i nthe family!
